Cinema FilmsThe Directorate is in charge of the classification of cinema films as well as cinema trailers, according to audience age groups, and the granting of the relevant licenses.

The classification is completed by five independent Committees. The Committees are presided by lawyers. Their members are teachers, journalists, cinema directors as well as public opinion representatives. The classification is judged on a second degree by a Committee of Appeal.

Musical PiecesThe Directorate grants certificates for musical pieces, on the basis of specific information (title, composer, singer, lyricist, musical notes) as a proof of copyright.

License to film scenesThe Directorate grants licenses to film scenes for cinema and television, as well as trailers. The granting is based on the filming script which is submitted to the competent independent Committee. The license permits the filming of scenes at sites other than those where a special license is required (military bases, archaeological sites, ports, etc).
