Summit of the South East European Cooperation Process (Thessaloniki, May 2-5, 2006)
The Directorate of Public Relations, in order to facilitate media representatives covering the proceedings of the Summit of the South East European Cooperation Process in Thessaloniki, set up a press centre at the Hyatt Regency Hotel. Three hundred and eighty media representatives from Greece and SA Europe were accredited at the Press Centre, which consisted of a 250-seat room for journalists, a 260- seat Press Conference room and two smaller rooms intended for national delegation briefings. The Press Centre was equipped with:
- 120 computers with Internet access
- Wireless network for computers
- 115 telephone sets
- 5 fax machines
- 2 photocopy machines
- a videowall
The staff of the Directorate of Public Relations facilitated the work of the media representatives at the Press Centre (transportation, accreditations, printed material etc).
