Secretary General of Information and Communication: Georgios Petroulakis
Giorgos Petroulakis is a political scientist – international relations specialist.
- He was born in Larissa in 1974.
- He has a degree in Political Science and International Studies from Panteion University, Athens. Having earned a scholarship by the State Scholarships Foundation, he completed his postgraduate studies and was awarded a Master’s Degree in Political Science of the European Union by the Institute for European Studies of the Free University of Brussels (Univeristι Libre de Bruxelles).
- He speaks English and French fluently.
- As a civil servant of the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2003, he participated in several working groups on the Cyprus issue and the elaboration of the Treaty establishing a Constitution for the E.U.
- As a member of PASOK’s (Panhellenic Socialist Movement) Communication Sector, until November 2009, he was charged with the preparation and drawing of the content and texts for PASOK’s electoral campaigns and in information of PASOK’s members.
- Since November 2009 he is Secretary General of Communication.
