Access by car

The new building of the Secretariat General of Communication – Secretariat General of Information is located:

• at a close distance to the centre of Athens(2,5 km from Syntagma Square),
• 100m. from Sygrou Avenue(at the height of Panteion University-INTERCONTINENTAL Hotel – the new building of Ethniki Asfalistiki), in the direction to the sea
• 300m. from the Koukaki Square

Access to the area by car is easy either from the northern suburbs or the southern ones, due to its adjacency to Athens’ main road traffic network:

Pedestrians have access to two underground passages(Sygrou Avenue and Chamosternas street) and one crossing above the ground(Chamosternas-Theiseos).

Access to the area is easy either from the northern suburbs or the southern ones, due to the existence of a great number of public transportation means: busses (14 lines), trolley(3 lines), metro and tram.
