European Elections Press Center
In order to facilitate media representatives covering the European Elections of June 7, 2009, the Secretariat General of Communication – Secretariat General of Information has set up a Press Center in Zappeion Hall.
The Press Center consists of
•2 work areas with a total of 190 work stations,
•a Press Conference room with a capacity of 120 persons,
•8 radio booths,
•an Accreditation and Information Desk (room 16)

The working hours of the Press Center are the following:
Saturday, June 6, 2009: from 10:00 until 22:00
Sunday, June 7, 2009: from 08:00 until the end of the working day
The Press Center is equipped with:
•70 telephone devices
•70 computers with internet access
•Wireless internet access for 100 laptops
•20 ISDN lines
•10 printers
•6 fax machines
•2 photocopiers
•2 plasma walls with 9 TV screens each and wireless head sets
•5 plasma TV screens
•6 computer terminals for real time election results, provided by the Ministry of the Interior
