Press Centre and accreditationsIn order to facilitate media representatives covering the Parliamentary Elections of September 16, 2007, the Secretarial General of Information – Secretariat General of Communication have set up a Press Centre at Zappeion Megaron, consisting of:

Press Centre hours of operation
- Saturday September 15, 2007, from 08.00 to 24.00
- Sunday September 16, 2007, from 08.00 (until the end of election-day related activity)
Equipment
The Press Centre is equipped with:- 130 telephone sets
- 100 computers with free access to Internet
- 25 ISDN lines for the connection of portable PCs
- Wireless network for laptops
- 8 fax machines
- 12 printers
- 2 photocopiers
- 8 monitors for the transmission of results from the ministry of Interior
- 1 Videowall 4x4 m. with speakers outside Zappeion Megaron
- 2 Videowalls, consisting of 9 screens (9 different channels), 200 receivers and head-sets
- plasma TV-screens at various points of Press Centre (entrance, lobby etc)
