November 10th - Participating in the organization of an event for the first showing of the documentary “La Grece Continentale”
The Press and Communication Office in Paris participated in the organization of an event for the first showing of the documentary “La Grece Continentale”, which took place at the cinema - theater Musee de la Poste, on the 10th of November. The documentary presents, among others, pictures from Athens daily life, archaeological and tourist sites, as well as elements that characterize various counties of Greece. In the event participated, apart from an important number of people, the Greek ambassador in France, Mr Constantin Chalastanis, the documentary producer, Mr. Patrick Bureau and a representative of the “Connaisance du Monde” production company.
March 4th, Fashion show by French Greek designer Antoine Antoniadis
On March 4th Antoine Antoniadis, a young French Greek designer, presented his first Autumn-Winter 2010/2011 womenswear collection in a show that took place at the prestigious Palais de Tokyo, under the auspices of the Press and Communication Office of the Greek Embassy in Paris.
With approximately thirty outfits inspired by Samouraο armour and by the Fifties, the fashion show of Antoine Antoniadis garnered vivid applause and positive comments from the audience –among many others: members of the greek diplomatic delegations and community in Paris, fashion journalists and french public.
