31 January 2008 - New Acropolis Museum presentation in Vienna
A lecture and presentation of the New Acropolis Museum in Athens took place on January 31st at the "Ephesus Museum" in Vienna, delivered by Dimitris Pantermalis, president of the Acropolis Museum Construction Organization and professor of Classical Archaeology at the Aristotelion University in Thessaloniki.
The event was organized by the Press and Communication Office of the Greek embassy in Vienna.
6 January 2008 - Celebration of the Epiphany
The Press and Communication Office in Vienna, on the occasion of the celebration of the Epiphany on January 6th, and in collaboration with the Greek Orthodox Church in Austria, organized the Ceremony of the Blessing of the waters at the Danube Channel in Vienna. The outdoor celebratory event was preceded by the celebration of the Epiphany Mass at the Greek-Orthodox Church of Holy Trinity.
