17 November 2008 - The Orchestra of Colours in the museum "Thielska Galleriet" of Stockholm
A Cultural Event of the Press and Communication Office in Stockholm, in cooperation with the Greek Embassy, the Greek Tourist Organization in Stockholm and the Club of Scientists in Sweden.
The String Quartet “Kinisis” (part of the Orchestra of Colours established by Manos Chatzidakis) – consisted of Odysseus Korelis (1 violin), Franc Shestani (2 violin), Ilias Sdoukos (viola) and Vangelis Ninas (violoncello) - presented to a Greek-Swedish audience parts of the music of Motzart, Chatzidakis and Skalkotas, on Monday, November 17th , in the museum” Thielska Galleriet” of Stockholm.
The concert was preceded by a guide to the exhibition spaces of Museum, which, apart from the works of many Scandinavian painters, houses also one from the biggest art collection of the Norwegian painter Edvard Munch.
The event opened with the welcoming speeches of the Greek Ambassador in Sweden Mr. Evangelos Karokis and the Chairman of Club of Greek Scientists in Sweden, Mr. Christos Lenis.
The event - that was jointly organized by the Greek Embassy in Sweden, the Press and Communication Office, the Greek Tourist Organization of Stockholm and the Club of Scientists Sweden - concluded with a reception on the honor of the participants.
