8-17 October 2008 - "Taste The World"
Innovative Business Solutions (IBS), a marketing consultancy and event management company, in coordination with several organizations and foreign Embassies, organized the event ‘’Taste the world’’ at the historical Cairo Marriott Palace.
The objective was to promote different cuisines and food products from Greece, France, Italy, Japan, Norway, Thailand, Lebanon, Morocco, the U.S. and Egypt.
‘’Taste the world’’ celebrated the very best these 10 countries can offer in food and drink. Executive Chefs representing these countries, conducted live cooking demonstrations.
The festival ‘’Taste the world’’ started on October 8 and ended on October 17.
The Press & Communication Office of the Embassy of Greece in Cairo supplied the organizers of the event with brochures, posters and DVD’s about the touristic attractions in Greece. The DVD has been promoted on a giant screen display and all the attendees saw a brief presentation about ‘’Wonderful Greece’’.
